HW110 or AA S510 what to buy

I'm looking to get buy an ambi side lever action for my lefty son
I've narrowed it down to the HW110 or the AA S510 Superrlight.
I've owned an S400 and loved it.
Recommendations please.

To fit it requires some mind over matter thinking

I'm with Gingernut on the HW110 mags, utter crap, they spoil an otherwise reasonable alternative to the HW100, so I'd go for the AA S510 even though I'm not a big fan of them.

Or you could just get a dedicated lh version of something which would widen the choice considerably

S510 but dont bother with the US R - pretty woodwork but slippery and the Reg doesn't really bring anything to the party

The Air Arms S510. Although for me, a HW100 would trump them both.

Got a hw100 carbine in .177 and a air arms carbine in.22. both excellent guns,
can't go wrong with either, heard bad things about the hw110

i was looking for a hw110 last december, got put of by all the problems with power fluctuations,of the 2 guns i would defo go for the s510, my mate had one and it was very good, or the hw100,again very good

Thanks for the input guys👍 HW 100 I think. So I’ve just looked and it appears you can’t get a standard length 100 with the laminated stock! Correct me if I’m wrong but I just can’t find one🤷♂️..
