    Secondary ir and mount for pard 008

    Does anyone else use a secondary ir on there pard008 if so what are the improvements, I want to have better clarity to 300 m +.
    What mounts and ir are you, using battery life and price please.😀

    300+yds you're probably going to want something like an SRX, not cheap but worth the price, around £130-£140.
    Mount wise something that's adjustable, be it a cheapie off the bay or one of the newer "ball-joint" types from nightmaster or custom hunting.

    I use one of Lee Poland’s Excalibur’s it’s about the smallest lightest laser that’s any good.
    All my shooting is on foot so wanted to keep the weight down so went for that rather than the bigger heavier ones, I don’t need to see 500yds.
    I don’t shoot at that distance at night but I’ve got some decent footage of a cattle trough and hedge line at 350yds.

    I have used a separate 940nm illuminater with my 007.

    We have had issues with alignment at 100yds on an ATNX, an adjustable mount would have helped.
    Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.
