Andy from AAR will also be doing an exclusive on the day at 1pm via his tube channel.

If I was a betting man I would say probably a lighter cheaper version of the defiant or some sort of bullpup.

Possibly red herrings but someone mentioned the action join on another forum from the teaser picture of the trigger you can just see the line above the trigger.

And under the cloth on Andys last video it looks compact and high eg maybe bullpup esq.

I personally would love to see a Ultra (TE) Third Edition

I’ve noticed reading BSA’s history today.

    https://bsaguns.co.uk/about-us/history-ethos/

In 2011 it was there 150th anniversary hence in 2021 obviously it’s there 160th anniversary.

Now back in 2011 the R10 Mk2 was released we’ve already had the 10th special edition hence I’m ruling that one out unless a mk3 is inbound.

Also in 2011 the scorpion SE was released so it could be a contender for the 10th anniversary new gun.

Although knowing BSA they will probably go a year in advance to 2012 which was when the revamped Ultra SE was released.

So I’m thinking this new gun maybe either a 160th anniversary a 10 year anniversary SE ultra or Scorpion or a bleeding Gamo rebadged BSA bull pup 😂

Way too many iffs, maybes and buts I’ll let you know Friday Tony

Is it a 22mm piston break barrel with a breech bolt and specifically designed to appeal to a limited market of a dozen or so BBS members who "know" that the whole world would buy one if only they had better taste??. I'll get my coat

Now that would be interesting especially if the gauge is measuring peak boinger cylinder pressure

I would be very interested if it was

The defiant is a strange one they are hardly mentioned on any shooting forums and the gist is they were/are too expensive and too heavy.

However if it lost a kg and a monkey off the price it would be far more appealing

I don’t like to diss BSA, I really like and have owned many models and am still a big fan of the ultras which I will always have a soft spot for and going by many wanted adverts are always popular models.

The defiant side lever is something never seen on any BSA pcp before hence a lot of folk criticise BSA for little forward thinking however the side lever is actually in the right place and certainly miles better than a lot of other bull pups and there ear tickle jobs
