Andy from AAR will also be doing an exclusive on the day at 1pm via his tube channel.

If I was a betting man I would say probably a lighter cheaper version of the defiant or some sort of bullpup.

Possibly red herrings but someone mentioned the action join on another forum from the teaser picture of the trigger you can just see the line above the trigger.

And under the cloth on Andys last video it looks compact and high eg maybe bullpup esq.

I personally would love to see a Ultra (TE) Third Edition

I’ve noticed reading BSA’s history today.

    https://bsaguns.co.uk/about-us/history-ethos/

In 2011 it was there 150th anniversary hence in 2021 obviously it’s there 160th anniversary.

Now back in 2011 the R10 Mk2 was released we’ve already had the 10th special edition hence I’m ruling that one out unless a mk3 is inbound.

Also in 2011 the scorpion SE was released so it could be a contender for the 10th anniversary new gun.

Although knowing BSA they will probably go a year in advance to 2012 which was when the revamped Ultra SE was released.

So I’m thinking this new gun maybe either a 160th anniversary a 10 year anniversary SE ultra or Scorpion or a bleeding Gamo rebadged BSA bull pup 😂

Way too many iffs, maybes and buts I’ll let you know Friday Tony

Well, you know me, Nick. So, a nice springer, 25mm bore or smaller, good trigger and breech bolt (if a break barrel) would do me. But, as you and a fair few others have said, guessing it'll be another variation on an existing PCP.

Before he finally kicked BSA into touch Bowkett had developed a unique hammerless pcp to first replace the flagship R10 and eventually the rest of the range over time. Meanwhile the pcps fitted with his self regulating valve system, Ultra, Scorpion etc, would also have been given a shot in the arm with an upgrade that gave 20% more shots from the same capacity fill but at a much lower working pressure of 160 bars instead of 232.

Out of interest do you know when it was that JB parted ways with BSA?

I’ve read so much info about the usual stuff where a lot of his ideas were never fully implemented or corners cut and dulled down for manufacturing etc.

Hence the blueprint he offers to make those items what they should have been.

I’m intrigued to know how long it’s been since BSA have had no input from JB.

IF it is a springer, my pessimistic/realistic grumpy prediction is that they have made another GAMO in BSA clothing.
