    LOC air pistol

Thanks to a kindly tip from a fellow member I was able to aquire the seldom seen LOC branded version of the Anschutz JGA/Dolla pistol.

ccdjg's full description of the LOC intrigue here:

This one is in a heavily used condition, with a lot of the original nickel plating worn off, but it is all original and complete, and I got it for a very reasonable sum.

I did my usual service to clean it up and get it shooting as it should, and I have to say it is a very well made little pistol, especially when compared to the various tinplate pop out pistols.

Performance is as expected, but as the JGA was the first airgun made by the venerable Anschutz company, and the LOC variant is an interesting example of period subdefuge, I am very happy to have this addition to the collection.

    Hope this is of interest.

I saw the pics of that on the Gallery. Unbelievable condition, looked like it had just left the factory. Where ever did you find it in the first place?

    Cheers,
    Matt
