    Proper airgun Military training

    Apparently early SAS/Malayan scouts shot darts at each other with air rifles while practicing Jungle stalking.
    That sounds like great fun. Note the fencing masks.

    Wonder what rifles used, top one looks Diana 25 ish but bottom one more Slavia 618?

    I had heard they used Webley Juniors, but perhaps they just used what they could find locally.

    I have heard the same but that rifle on the left of the bottom picture has cannelures at the breech end of the cylinder. Something the Webley didn't have

    Bottom one more likely a full size CZ236 like the one in link below but hard to be sure. They have a manual safety at the back of the receiver/action which you flick from left to right or vice versa.

    The guy on the right is also holding an air rifle, what make l am not sure Diana or Webley.
