Yes I have just bought a set of the Lee powder scoops/measures, already have the scales as I use to reload 12 guage shells so have shot and a few powders although probably not suitable for. 410 shells, I will need a resize tool for my used shells a decap tool perhaps take the point off a nail.
I downloaded the ideas in the book yesterday recommended above by Ian Sea "locusts on the horizon".
    Thank you one and all.

As far as i know if the carts are being used in the same gun they dont normally need the brass resizing, i never have done, mines a single shot tho so dont know if that makes a difference? May be a problem with pumps but iv never owned one to confirm, no doubt someone who has will be able to answer more accurately 👍
    All the best

I've never found the need to resize .410 hulls, if a hull's in good enough condition to reuse I find they fit easily enough.

Had some issues with dodgy roll crimps when I started out reloading them as some wouldn't fit easily, but it was me and my technique at fault in every instance.

That said I've only ever used my hand rolled carts in my own guns.

Can hulls Which have been roll crimped be re-crimped multiple times?

I get 2 maybe 3 good crimps for most carts before they’re binned, could probably get a few more but im using a cheap evil bay job on a dewalt so dont know if that effects there life or not ?

Most roll crimped hulls suffer small splits on the edge of the crimp when fired. So a hull starting out at 76mm may become 73mm 2nd time, 70mm a 3rd and when spent those that are up to it I cut down to 65mm for use in my 2.5" chambered gun.

Loading data that uses a roll crimp will state hull length, 76mm 73mm etc. And will state the component assembly that should get you very close to the right amount of free hull to form the crimp. Just a case of having settled on a reloading recipe for each length and spending time to make sure the cutting is neat and accurate.

If starting with once fired star crimped hulls, I trim to 73mm as I find this makes forming the roll crimp easier.

SP3 is a very popular powder with lots of available data. Can be hard to get, well for me in the back of beyond it is. I also have H110 as that features in a lot of American .410 reloading data.

One powder to conquer them all? SP3.

Thank you, my nearest rfd is Newport Sportsman, they told me they don't do much with reloading so might have to look online.

Up here where I am .410 shotgun reloading isn't really a thing that suppliers cater for. Rifle ammo reloading is different and as .410 requires slow burning powders some powders aimed at pistol calibers also work with it. So I started off with H110 using mainly yank data.

Way more data available for SP3 so in the end I ordered a job lot of components new blank hull etc. including a tub of SP3, from Clay & Game. Cost about £45 for delivery but divided across all the items worked out way cheaper than driving for it in person.
