The Hurricane is with the deepened piston is shooting really well with the leather cup washer.
Any ideas why most guns with cup washers have leather centres?
I never knew that about the Hubertus
I personally can't see any difference between a cup washer and a parachute washer as far as the theory goes. If you want a detailed account about piston washer theory and types see here : https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2018...-seals-part-1/

I suspect that most cup washers have leather centres for pure manufacturing convenience and/or the abiity of the leather to store lubricant.

[Edit: I should say that the above link is Part 1 of the article, and is pretty kindergarten stuff. Part 2 is more useful: https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2018...-seals-part-2/ ]
