    Biakal IZH53M.

Hello I am not sure if this is the right place, this is the first time sort of looking/exploring 'pistols' for me. I would like a IZH53M to play with please, so if anyone can help it would be grately apreciated.
    Thank you.
    Cheers.

Hi Geoff--here is the earlier one with the steel breech http://www.muzzle.de/N3/Druckluft/Ba...baikal_40.html

And the late--ish right handed 53 here http://www.muzzle.de/N3/Druckluft/Ba...kal_ij_53.html

The 53M is even later and Ambi gripped.

You may find an earlyish USSR made 53 with an alloy breech block intead of the steel one of the 40 or the plastic of the later Russian 53's.

I hope you find a cheap one to tinker with.

What sort of playing do you want to do? Taking apart and tinkering, or experimenting with pistol shooting?
What sort of budget have you got in mind?

I have one I hardly use - I have done a lot of tinkering on it, but it does shoot nicely now.

If you are interested, I will take some pictures of it.
Too many guns, or not enough time?

Hello well I was thinking of learning how they worked and seeing how they might be improved, polished etc. and finally shooting. As regards price I have not a lot of idea what they are worth.
If you would kindly send me a picture or two and an idea of what you would want for it. Discuss PM if you wish.
    Thank you.
    Cheers.

Hi, I have taken some pictures, but can't post them on here. I can email them if you want to PM me your email address.
However, I am not sure it is what you are looking for, I have polished all the internals, ground the spring ends, fitted a delrin guide, and swapped the open sights for a Picatinny rail mounted to the tube.
So maybe not a lot of scope for further tinkering...

    Let me know your thoughts.
