Aussie Seals - Green or Red?

I notice that there's two sorts on offer, the red claims to be self lubricating but with a concave face.

What's the difference in an HW80?

The green material he uses seems to be less resilient than other seal materials, so easier to damage on installment.

I've used both and found the green can wear a bit prematurely, especially if you have an older (and maybe slightly oversized) cylinder bore. Swapped over to the red seals to remedy the situation and tbh, stuck with them ever since.

I know one thing that will be the same with both types.
....they could both still take up to 3 months to arrive
    ....never again.

    STR8SHOOT3R,

I have used the red Custom Air Seals (Aussie) piston seals in quite a number of rifles & pistols, with complete satisfaction.

Have fun & a good weekend

    Best regards

I've not used the green ones but, I have put the red ones in a '97 and a TX.

They had to be sized a little but, both worked very well 👍

    All of the above.
