    webley side leaver stock ''warning sticker''

    bought (the above)what looks like an original stock 'sticker' for my tracker
    now its not a sticker as such,so i emailed knibbs about it
    very nice of the to take my money and not even return my email/question/enquiry....thats for that knibbzy.
    any one got any ideas please??

    It looks like a transfer to me,the kind you have to
    wet and slide off.

    Yes it’s a water slide transfer, like what you got in Airfix kits. Don’t expect it to last. If you’re going for a concourse restoration then fair enough, but if it’s getting handled it’ll rub off. I almost think Webley only designed them to be “semi permanent”.

    Knibbs email situation is terrible, they don’t answer them. If you want a response follow it up immediately with a phone call.

    Yep thats what Ive got too. Didnt know they were meant to water slide. Always wondered why they were so fragile!
    They easily break on the touch.
    Greg may be right, maybe they were only designed to last a short time. Until the owner was familiar with the gun.
    I put some protective tape over them so they stay neat

    Usually ended up with RAF Roundels anywhere except where they were supposed to go
