The DU10 was developed to give the Czech rapid fire team something to practice with that didn’t use up expensive ammunition.

Ah yes I'm aware of this but wasn't there also a rapid fire air pistol event.

you can with the right end cap.
    Awesome guns.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

I was looking into this until I found out how the Drulov works.
I had assumed that the co2 bulb was pierced and sealed at the valve meaning that the shots were fired and fed gas directly from that bulb much like a conventional repeating replica.
This method is fine for plinking but I wasn't happy about it in a quality target pistol.
However I've since found out that the bulb goes in upside down and is pierced by a screw in piece that releases all the gas into the pistols own reservoir.
I'm reliably informed that I'll get 50-70 consistent shots per bulb which is fine for me and does away with the need to bulk fill.

Bulk fill from fire extinguisher to small cylinder to pistol. £10 of bulk fill CO2 equivalent to over 160 capsules.
