Shed Tuner on the wall it will go until I source a new valve for it.
you won't find a new valve as the UK/Can spec valves are obsolete
it is easily rebuildable and repairable but a lot of shops wouldn't have a clue now
the new 2100 valves will fit but don't have the blow off valve but the rear valve case can be used with the other parts of the 2100 valve
Thanks Chaps... I suspected that the valve may be obsolete, oh well. In all honesty this is not something I will be rushing to do but will keep to one side. This would mean that the wood stock Crosman 2200 would share the same valve and therefore is technically unrepairable? he wood one was on my one day list!
i have half a dozen inc model 1's along with a few i've bought beyond repair/incomplete just for spares
as long as all the parts are there it's fixable if it's just a reseal with a new stem your looking at £25 plus return postage if you can wait till later in the year when i have more time
That would be fantastic and I can indeed wait. I will PM you in a day or two if thats OK?
I am starting to look into repairing it, to be fair the pump seal was indeed hard to find, Lawrie om here saved me.
As I mentioned on your previous post check the blow off valve is sealing ,mine wouldn't hold air last year after 40 years of light use, resealed the valve and still leaked then noticed that where the valve rested on the diecast body it had pushed the casting out along the seam, a few light taps to straighten along the join line and good as new.

I have a few chores in line ahead of doing this rifle (new shed, bathroom etc) but I will certainly be revisiting all the information offered regarding these rifles. I believe opening the valves will be the hardest part...after sourcing valves. Is there a website or forum that specialises in these? IE Yellow Airgun forum ?
