    Hsing-ee mystery disappearance

    Gents,

Just wondered if anyone has heard from Alistair? Last sighting on here was March 19th. He was going to send me some images of a pistol the following day but nothing arrived and heard nothing since.
Anyone know anything? I do hope he's ok.

    Mike

well we chatted via email a few days ago, and he was fine then. Maybe just busy with work...
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Al does seem to a habit of disappearing from here for weeks or even months, then suddenly returning and starting threads in his inimitable style. You know, suggesting that a Relum Tornado is clearly better than a FWB300S because it’s named after a weather phenomenon, or whatever.

If anyone is in contact with Alistair, it would be greatly appreciated if you could remind him to pm me regarding images he was going to send me of the Gamo compact.

    Many thanks Mike.

A bit like lobbing a piece of meat into a phirana infested river and see what happens

Even hungry piranhas would gag on a Hungarian Swamp Donkey and would rather become cannibal.

Any contact with Phil ( Rickenbacker) Tony ?

I know he was looking after a sick relative a few years back.

Phil is one of the many good guys on here. Hope he is doing well.

Tis true. I did once hold a Hungarian Swamp Donkey ( aka Tornado ) but at arms length with rubber gloves and I said several Hail Marys on the way home where I immediately disinfected my hands (pre Corvid ).
