Have been updating my trusses recently as the world of shooting has finally caught up with what I wanted 15 yrs ago as usual and thought I would look at what is on offer in the world of spigot bipods , you know the old heavy duty type that go on an Anschutz rail type hand stop. Well to my surprise there were none on the Bay not even copies , could only find the actual real ones which are for military use and cost nearly as much as they weigh . I suppose if an enemy gets near enough you can club them !!! So my question is, baring in mind I have only just started taking my solid hand stops out of my rails to replace them with bits of flimsy off cuts from picatinny rails, when did this happen ? I suppose I should have been paying more attention to what was holding up other rifles on the firing point put tend to stay focussed when shooting.
