Just went through the stockpile and measured the shortest contenders...
from left to right
H&N Defiant sniper light 5.4mm
Eley wasp 5.4mm
JSB Express 5.25mm
H&N Excite wadcutters 5.0mm
4.4mm copper coated ball
JSB Diabolo 8.4 for comparison (were getting scrunched) 6.2mm
So the expresses or the excites seem to be the winners 
Will try them in the gamos tomorrow
