These were early 80s mounts.... Designed to be adjustable with shims between the clamps and rings... I have had a couple usually on old Tasco's.....
Found my first two piece set last weekend!! On a Stirling HR81

I have a mount, similar but not identical.

It does have, however, the asymmetric design of the "loop-to-rail" fixing, and the BKL-type centre gap; this gap is adjustable by recessed Allen/hex-headed grub screws, independently of the rail-to-dovetail fixing screws, as in the example. I'm guessing that these are to accommodate variations in rifle dovetail spacings, whilst maintaining the two halves of the rail parallel.

It also has (just visible in the photo) two sets of captive shims, front and rear. The purpose of these could be, I think, to make coarse preliminary windage adjustment, or to centralise the mount and scope to the barrel.

Mine has "PARK RIFLE" engraved on the rail, so I'm pretty certain that that's your answer.

Maybe one of the "Collectable" boys has more details, or even one fitted to their Park?

    Thanks...

...all, I think it's steel and yes it has shims and the recessed screws. It's a nice bit of kit. I did have a Park Rifle once (hated it) so on balance of probability it's a Park. Majority agreement would be great though sales price would be a useful indicator too.

    TIA

Glad that's cleared up, as to the name, as I have one in the mounts box. What are they worth, much.?
