Decided to do a search for Anics with the grips . Did find a pic within seconds . Thank goodness for Google . Wood appears to be stained Beech with chequering to most of the wood . Silver frame too not seen one before like that

That’s where I got the pic from to show the wood grips

The seller has lowered his price as it was originally on sale for 190!

I noticed the wood grips are different on the nickel version
It’s possible Anics made different wood grips, my guess is the wood grips with the chequering are original & ones without are reproductions
