    Anshutz 250 .177

    250 Anschutz 177 serial No. 087954

    Hi

This is one from last of my collection.

I do have ALSO a US Benjamin Franklin 342, that I have to get a collectors valuation for sale ?

This immaculate Anschutz rifle has been in my loft since new. Less than a dozen shots fired.

A repair of the stock, carried out by Woodies of Wembley. A hairline split on pistol grip to trigger guard.

The blueing is as new. Plain stock with original lacquer.

Two sights with, sale doc. Manuel, spare butt plate, and spanner.

Had this rifle about 40 years!

£275.00 for me to part with it

This rifle has to be collected.. I live 10 minutes from M1 at Staples Corner.

I saw this rifle many years ago and don't remember the stock repair being at all visible. It would be an excellent collectable because it is in time-warp, as brand new, external condition otherwise.

I’m a big fan of the 250, a thoroughly underrated match rifle, with one of the most interesting anti-recoil mechanisms.
I serviced the hydraulic damper system on mine and it’s one of my favourite 10m rifles to shoot.

    Good luck with the sale,

    Matt

    Thanks for the Comments

    Matt and Garvin

Looked at the Anschutz today and wondered myself how could i part with it

But on the other hand I realised one of us has to go first either the gun or me so I decided it has to be the

Anschutz. The split i have heard came about through the timber not being properly dried out, not through being badly

treated.. It only appeared in the last couple of years, the central heating had a part to play

the price will not go lower, even if I go first
