Many years ago a friend was showing me his collection - he had Services with the lettering infilled.
He used a white wax crayon to do it.
Looked OK as above , but not permanent.

I've sometimes done this to highlight markings for photography and as you say Sam - it is not permanent.Originally Posted by Sam99

Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.
