    Bsa airsporter valuation

    .22 flavour no idea on value I guess I’d say 100 for mk2 & 160 for mk1?

What sort of price range would you put them at?

Mk2 SN & finish on cocking lever worn off or possibly a replacement, there is what looks like letter D so I think it’s GD prefix

Mk1 SN is visible & is G prefix

    Foresight hoods missing

    Mk2 SN

As always when selling any used item it all depends on a number of factors.
I might be over generous but maybe £100 more each?

No harm in trying, if you are going to sell them.

I think you are about right, maybe more like £130 for the mk2 ?
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

130 for mk2 in that condition, so only an extra 30 for the mk1 in much better condition?

    I like Byronic valuations better

The mk2 still has the nice stamped lettering on the barrel

I’ve also just found this period BSA 3-7x20 scope for the mk2, should increase value slightly

I’m going to re black the trigger block & cocking lever on mk2

As the trigger block is zinc alloy I might try the Birchwood Casey aluminium black. Has anyone used it before, is it any good?

Today I thought I’d have a go at re doing the SN on the mk2. After checking with magnifying glass I could see the numbers was GD89744

I used a dremel with a diamond burr nail, I’ve never tried engraving metal before, I thought I’d give it a go

I think the results are not too bad for my first attempt
