I've just sold my last HW45 stock along with 2 of my 45's, but i never had the alternative foresight with either of the stocks I had. The stocks don't seem to appear for sale very often nowadays

I've just stumbled onto this thread as I've had a little hankering for another 45; don't know why. Seeing the pictures in here reminded me that is what mine was like back in the 80's (with the badge inlaid in the grips).

I suppose if I'm being authentic in collecting some of my old kit I should get the right one!

I was actually in collectables as I have a AA Firepower and Original 6G for sale and was looking to see if they would be better in here!
Steyr Challenge HFT - HW97K - BSA Mercury Challenger - Anschutz 9015 One - AA Pro Target - AA Pro Elite - ASI Paratrooper (R) - Walther LP500

Your collection isn’t complete without an old HW45 early variant

I also own an AA firepower with mag tube

There was an HW45 with shoulder stock fitted at the last Kempton but I cannot remember who had it.

So many guns to see and I missed taking a photo of it!

Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

Yes - and I'm having great fun with them!
I'm campaigning the shoulder stock fitted to the 177 HW45 that I bought from you in my club's open sight recoiling rifle class and coming consistently mid-field with it. I made a front sight by machining down an old double clamp scope mount to give a front sight post.
