Ooo-er. Having seen some of Craig's beautiful custom stock works, I could only expect that these will be lovely and finished to the very highest standards. I had, sorta, heard that he was working on some bespoke guards.

    Piccies please!

    Thank you, Tony.

Here you go, I’ve taken photographs of them on a few different stocks and showing how they fit various trigger blade shapes (standard, setback, straight)

Funnily enough I chequered and finished a beech 55 stock the other week for my mate, the guard did indeed suit it very well.

Them guards look the business mate.
The stock pictured is indeed mine and to say I'm happy with job you did on it is an understatement, if anyone is looking for stock refurbs and chequering then Craig is your man.👍

You should be very proud of your work, Craig, transforming stocks into something quite unique and special. And the "BSA-esque" (English sporting pattern?) guards look absolutely fantastic. Execution, polishing and finish looks exemplary and would transform many a stock / rifle. Very well done, my friend.

Will you be bringing any along to The Bash for a fondle?

And Pete and Tinners have asked if you have any "full rifle shots" of any 35s fitted with the guards? I think Pete will especially appreciate the Anglo-German collaboration.

Thank you mate. I can certainly bring along some of the guards if anybody wants any.

I’m chequering a 35 stock right now - but won’t post photographs as I don’t want to ruin Nick or Pete’s bank holiday weekend...
