According to the German Hunting Guns website there were two gunsmiths in Herzberg with the surname Störmer who made hunting and sporting guns: Gustav Adolf Störmerr and August Störmerr. It is not exactly a common name so most probably there was a Störmer family gusnmithing dynasty and A.E. amd E. A. could have been two members that specialised in air guns.

Thanks both. Apparently there was an Ernst August Störmer so maybe the A. E. Störmer was father/son/brother/cousin Adolf?
