OMG Frank! No wonder they're so rare!

Don't you have a DST as well?

That is probably a unique collection, unless maybe Mike D has more.

Do you have one (or more?) of those weird bargain 55s without the barrel lock?

DST is a bit envy-inducing. I’ve never owned a set trigger rifle, and must some time. Any views on how the HW DST compares to the Walther or others? I’ve an irrational attraction to the Walthers, but, being irrational, it has no basis in fact.

Fortunately enough I have some HW55's without the barrel lever, these are the "F" models.

Regarding the DST triggers, these where used mostly on the Walther's to see them on a Weihrauch is very rare, it took me 35 years to find 2 of them.
The Walther trigger needed only minor adjustment to make it ready for the DST unit, Weihrauch was a completely different afair.
    These are by Walther. ..

    Lovely...,

Are the DST’s nice to use? I feel I’d like an example at some point.

Once used to the extremely light trigger once "set" it is a joy to use.
It gave the shooter a great advantage just like a Tirolian stock, thats why they banned them from match games as it was " unfair" to have these features, meaning people who could afford them had the advantage.

Apologies for going off at a slight tangent... I think that what first attracted me to these early Weihrauchs was the extraordinary engineering ingenuity the gunmakers showed. For example, look at these amazing early match triggers:

    https://forum.vintageairgunsgallery....w35/#post-4971

You can almost witness the engineers feeling their way towards the mighty Rekord, a trigger which let's remember was first deployed in the mid-1950s and is still in use today, virtually unchanged and never-bettered nearly 70 years later! How many innovations can you think of that have survived untweaked for that long?
