Thought I’d throw it in collectable airgun section, get more views if that’s ok with mods?

I managed to find an early variant

.177 boxed & with a spare .22 barrel, best of both worlds

Nice. Does it have a proper front sight, not the fibre-optic silliness?

    Each to his own.

Me, I like “proper” sights for target shooting and think fibre-optics are a solution to a non-existent problem which create a new, real, problem.

Tritium, on the other hand, is very useful on a “social” weapon.

I've just sold a couple of early variant HW45's; one with the impressed lettering was in a fitted upper and lower styrene tray with a brown illustrated card outer sleeve, and the other with laser lettering was in a fitted styrene tray within a white card HW illustrated box, but neither were in a box like the one shown by the OP.

    Thanks Lee.

I don't add absolutely everything to the gallery and that BSA Breakdown is neither uncommon nor particularly interesting IMO. The HW45 is fairly scarce, it seems. (Loads will probably turn up now )

I have a one ( .177 dual power) with the stamped model number not white paint but the wooden grips do not have a medallion - is this an earlier version than the one with the Hw medallion ????

    There’s no need for that

Yes it’s not uncommon nor particularly interesting, there’s not many Breakdowns on their so I thought you might like to add it, no worries
