    Evening all,
Does anyone know the inside diameter/bore of the cylinder on these old oddities please ?

Don’t know - I think somewhere in the 26-27mm range. Not very helpful. If it is helpful, Chambers still stock replacement leather piston seals for them.

    Thanks Geezer,
I'll strip it and check, it's on the backburner but had a shot the other day and it didn't feel too bad, no twang but didn't chrono it, planning to get rid of the leather seal and fit something modern.

Did that make it any less bad?

(I have an HR81, so I’m allowed to be rude about them.)
