What is a decent early HW 77 k (25mm internals) worth?

I'd agree with that, although I saw a good full length MK1 today at Kempton. Vendor wanted £380.

All depends on condition also if it’s a mk1 then the .177 seem to go for slightly more than the .22 I have found but an early model can go between £150-£350. it all depends on condition, if it’s a mk1,2 or 3 does it have open sights etc. Also check if it does have the 25mm internals as a lot of rifles have been changed through the years.
