Very rare Galway Target master PCP

I have a Galway Target master .177 PCP which dates back to the early 1980's, these along with the Feild master we're actually one of the first PCP's on the market , the Galway Field master is a very rare air rifle but the Target master takes it to another level, any way I'm going to sell the rifle that is in vgc and working very well, the trouble is it's so rare I can find no information to what it's value is , if any member have any info or ideas of valuation that is fare for me and any potential buyer please let me know , I can't put pictures on this notification but can send if anyone wants to see it .

    No problem, Kev.

I had cause to put two decent members on the naughty step recently as they bought and sold off the back of a valuation thread so I thought I'd give a timely reminder.

A mate of mine is friends with the owner of Galway Silencer's son, from memory the Galways were built here in Leicestershire ?

I can never remember which came first, the Galway Fieldmaster or the Daystate Huntsman ?

Daystate, 1980 or 81. The Galway was prototyped in 82 or 83 and I think entered production in early 84.

Funny enough just reading an old AGW and they have one for a prize. June 1984. Rifle, HF silencer and air cylinder £365. Mach 1.5

If it went under the hammer at 340.its worth less than that.auctionier will take 18%.so a middle ground of £300 would be about right.they are not realy collectable.

true the seller would have got less than £340, but the fact remains a purchaser was prepared to part with £340 for it.

PS I have no idea on value, and am not disagreeing with your £300 number, just making the point.
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

If The the auctioned rifle went under the hammer at £340 the buyer would have paid 20% plus vat which would come out at around £440 and that was a few yrs ago ,correct me if I've got my figures wrong .
