    The patent date 11/4/ 78 certainly matches

    Yes, it certainly is. It is also the slightly rarer version with rosewood grip plates.

    What a nice find Pete, not many of them about and as John says with the rare rosewood grips. it's the largest of the USA push in type pistols.

    Thank you Gentlemen, I have had my eye on this for a while and pleased to find it still cocks, even though the trigger spring is tired.
