Except that it dates back to the 1940s-1960s (MP38, planned production EM2 with plastic furniture, Sterling, M16) and the world’s militaries have for about 20 years been moving away from it toward browny-greeny weapons. Because black is poor camouflage.

Any airgun manufacturer looking at making a plastic-stocked and/or low-profile metal finish gun should be planning on making it in olive drab or “coyote” brown or similar turd-like colours. Which some are.

The only issue I have with the tactical styling is it attracts the 'wrong' types of buyer sadly and Yes, I know many of you will like it too and I'm not saying all buyers of it are 'wrong uns'...

Maybe but the basic black AR15 platform in all its forms is incredibly popular in the States and these trends can find their way to the airgun world, as we have seen over the last few years.

All the AA needs is a dummy magazine!
