Morally flawed
Hello, I am new to the forum and feel I must defend the looks of the mk7 titan. I found one at an auction last year and still can't believe my luck. £250 all in. That is auctioneers fees and postage.plus it's been rebuilt by a specialist with a fancy title.
Thank you. Simon.
As we are on the ugly pistol thread, please can one of you learned Gentlemen identify which model/variant these are?
Thank you in advance
Hi Pete,
Although not a maker's designation, the top one is considered by collectors as a 7th Series model and the lower one a 6th Series model. I wouldn't consider the 7th Series pistols ugly and they also heavily influenced the appearance of the slightly later Webley Mk1 models.
This Cogswell & Harrison or more like Wallace & Gromit design is what I would consider to be a bit on the ugly side

Thank you Brian
See what you mean and Wallice n Gromit is a great discription
Sadly someone has seen fit to saw off the end of the barrel on your Model 6 pistol. I have seen this on a few examples and I can only assume it was done to make it fit the pocket better. Unfortunately it will affect the value quite a lot to the serious collector. But on the plus side, I doubt it will affect the accuracy much!
