I am still in denial.....I have lots of BSA's, I actually dont want to count them as |I might realise I have an issue or start being called a collector !!!

I have just written down and worked out what I have actually got, and its ridiculous!! I think I need some help. No wonder my Mrs is having a go at me!!

The secondary purpose of this section is to exchange information about rare and vintage airguns.

    The primary purpose is therapy.

I have to admit that most of my collection is based on looks and sometimes strangeness, I love a carbine and adore walnut stocked rifles (who doesn't), as most of you know my first love is the BSA Mercury/Airsporter/Challenger mainly for their beautiful flowing lines (even if they are a pain in the arse to mount a scope on and get decent eye relief), which I have several of each in my collection, I then have my beloved Prosport, a Theoben Sirocco 2000 (strangely I love the angled looks of the front stock) same goes for the mid 80's Diana 34's and Webley Trackers (I need them in my collection as well) I need a RWS Excalibre as well just for the sheer gorgeousness of the stock.

Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

I am in the Accumulator gang ,with a bit of nostalgia thrown in.
As time goes on,I am more interested in classic and vintage springer’s.
I just have to use them a bit more.

Definitely have a weakness for Mk1 airsporters primarily, also any early BSA rifles …,so I suppose it’s a recreating my youth thing … The difference now is that when I was younger, I had to sell one to buy another …Whereas now I have early meteors, cadets, airsporters etc

Also have the better shooters as in V-Mach 77,97 & 80 but the Mk 1 airsporter is my 1st love … But what to do with them when push comes to shove?
Not sure where I`m going.....But I`ll get there someday

I put myself down as a 5 (typologist) but there's an unhealthy portion of 4 (marque specialist) tossed in!

My motley collection is firmly rooted in post-war springers, but I tend to fixate on a few favorite models, then obsess over their history, and "need" every variation. HW 55's and Diana 27's are the longest-running afflictions, and thus the most numerous in the current pile. Also multiples of Webley Mk 3, HW 50 (the real one not the 99), and Diana 50, with a smattering of many others.

I am an Accumulator with a slight leaning to Nostalgia (Diana mod 16, Cadet majors etc - owned during youth).
I have a strong liking for older (pre-war up to 70's) Webley range of pistols and rifles but not a huge fan of BSA, although I have a few, and an odd assortment of interesting 'others'.
