    Hi John hands up it was me, there were a number of Originals in the collection I picked up. I kept a 45 Deluxe as it was tuned and shot well. Cheers Karl

    45 Deluxe is a new one on me. Can you give details?

    I too cannot recall a Deluxe version but I do recall some models that came equipped with a barrel weight and slings and an Original scope of some spec?
    Not sure if these were known as Deluxe however, but could have been referred to as such by dealers perhaps?
    I've often wondered if those barrel weights made any appreciable difference? I've always found the 45 one of the most accurate springers of my collection.
    If there was a distinct Deluxe version however if certainly like to know more of it.

    Those were the early 80s 45S models. The U.K. importer’s designation for them were 45S (no sight provided), 45SB (with 4x20), 45SBS (with 4x28).
