    308 cartridge headstamp

Anyone know the country of origin for "T P" headstamp on 308 cases? Cannot find it with Google.

Got any context or a pic? Is it vintage, or modern?

    The base

    At 12 o'clock "T"... at 3 o'clock "P" and at 6 o' clock " .308" ... I cannot find any reference to them... not vintage.

I did a bit of investigation some years ago on some Boer War .303 brass that was given to me - but that is of course vintage stuff. Finding info was sketchy - but I did identify it in the end.

    I'm sure you Googled this:

Maybe it is a variation of TPZ or TPE

I also found a thread on SD that also came to the conclusion that it was Swiss RUAG.

Swiss Ruag... well I never.. good brass but it takes a lot of resizing.. possibly military.
