Bsa standard piston and nut wanted.

After a piston and the nut that holds washer on for a c1930 bsa standard. Mine is wrecked. Happy to pay fair price. Cheers Paul

The screw that retains the washer is smashed to bits. Clearly nut came loose and has been fired. May end up doing an engineering repair to existing one, but if anyone has complete piston and washer etc I would gladly buy it! Cheers paul

If it's the later type threaded post with the flat round retainer with two holes, these often suffer damage, a retrograde step IMHO by BSA, easy fix though to just face the lot off and drill and tap for an earlier washer set, the BSA threadform escapes me at the moment, but I recall that 10-32 UNF could be used if a new thread was done.

The earlier washer set is an easy Modification using Knibbs STD10 washer kit. Not worth messing with the later bush type
