Advice wanted regarding a fair price to ask for a SMK TargetQB78D Match CO2 Rifle.

I've got one of the above that I want to move on as I'm unlikely to ever get round to servicing it, and it's currently losing its gas very quickly.

It's marked up as "TargetQB78D" and it's the version supplied without any match/open sights. So basically it needs a service/seal set ? and has to be used with a scope or compatible open sights of some sort. Can any BBS members suggest a fair price for me to ask when the item goes up for sale shortly as I don't have much of any idea at all. Condition is fair to good and I can supply piccies by E Mail if anyone needs them to help in their assessment.

    Thanks, Vic Thompson.

if it's like this one, then it's around £220 new with reasonable match sights:

So £100 sounds about right bearing in mind the sights are not that cheap.

edit just found the one without opens - £175
    https://www.mrserviceshazlemereltd.c...499-1177-p.asp

So £100 seems about right if it's in good nick. If it needs a reseal, knock off £20-£30

    I assume it's .177 ?
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

I’d say more like £60. Not very sought after, not rare or special, and the need for a rebuild will be a turn off for many.

I’ve seen various QBs sell very cheap (as low as £20 + fees) at auction over the past few years.

Being a target version it's worth a bit more than a standard one.
Resealing is not to big a deal for someone familiar with them.

    I would ask £80.

Thanks for the advice folks, it'll be advertised for sale later today if all goes to plan.
