Anyone else tried 3D printed moderators?

Out of sheer curiosity I 3D printed one of the moderator designs out there. I printed it in glow in the dark PLA.

To my surprise I found that it actually performs better than the Daystate mod on my Huntsman. Now I can truly appreciate how "pingy" the gun is

No. PLA does get more bendy at about 50degrees so you probably wouldn't want to leave one in a roasting car. It would be more hot car friendly printed in ABS.

I had a 3d printed mag holder and left it on the garden table on a hot day and it warped so that was the end of that

I've had a 3D printed muzzle brake on my Steyr for three years, no problems.
    Best Regards

    Simon

    I've got some slug guns.
