that's a good result... you wont even get a service of the new-fangled-electrickery-guns for that these days
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

Sorry, auto correct, it should read 'I quite agree.'

I think it is fair to say that I have tried every make of precharged air rifle on the market and the only one I think is truly 'better' than the Rapid is the Edgun Matador which is much more expensive. There certainly are very good ones on the market today such as the FX Impact and FX Crown but they are in a different category of price. Daystate seem to have gone into limited editions and, as has been mentioned earlier in this thread, they are really expensive to get fixed. I don't really see anything out there that would replace my Rapids at anything like the price they would fetch so why bother to change?

According to the rapid 7 crowd they are the best of the best PCP's, if that is true it says alot about PCP's
    A nice springer any day

Personally I think that £45 is to much for something that look's like this thing

My mk1 was laid up for just over 20 years, The hammer and spring etc had some type of grease on it but I cleaned it all off and replaced it back in the block, Was a little unsettled but after about 4 or 5 mags it was shooting great ,
