Anyone got any MK1 HW85 adverts or magazine articles?

    Hi,
As above does anyone have anything on the early HW85 they could share? I would love to know more about this model.

I don’t, but I do recall an AGW or AG review in 85/86 where the test rifle was with some pellets over 12ft/lbs and the recommendation was simply not to use those pellets. Insert faceplalm emoji.

    85

The 85 appeared mid 86 with a stock very much like the angled MK1 80 later versions then wore a stock like the Mk2 80 with the rounded forend. The deluxe had a pistol grip cap like the 77. I'll email you some venom pics. Mach 1.5

I don't think the degree of enforcement of the 12ftlb limit has changed since the 1980's, but attitudes towards it have.

Can never understand why the HW85 never really took off. Yet a decade later the HW95 was a massive success.
