I'd like to introduce myself. I have been reading and enjoying the forum for over a year on and off, via the net, all over the world.
I am originally from the Midlands, but have been working here, there and everywhere for the last 3 years on major projects in the UK, Middle East and North America.
You lot have thrown up a lot of ideas and opinions which I have found thought provoking,true, false, offensive, critical, negative, positive, hillarious and saddening. The whole gamut of discussion really.
I get little chance these days to use my rifle and pistols, so reading this board is a wecome release. TX 200, HW 45, Compact and hopefully a proper target pistol soon.
I am currently in Ontario in Canada, where it appears you need a FAC (or their equivalent) to get anything above a pop gun! Firearms seem to be the thing here (rifles anyway) if you are a permanent resident.
Had a HW 77 and a Gamo Compact in the UAE which I liked to use for plinking, and they were both cheap.
I will be writing to my MP about the crazy restrictions threatening to severely restrict airgunning. What has happened to punishment and social responsibility these days? The laws are strong enough allready.

I howled with laughter at the 'most stupid things I have done' thread a few weeks back. Some of the threads were corkers!
