    BSA Meteor

    Hi

I have been given a BSA Meteor (serial no- TG22051), its a old rifle. When it is fired the slug only travels approx 2 metres .

Please can anyone give me advice on what the problem could be and what I can do to reslove it and here I can get the parts from, price etc .

It is more than likely to be the spring but i'm worried incase it could also be something else.

    Cheers!

Mainspring, breech seal and piston seal. Cost around £16.

Replace the lot and you'll be laughing.

Chambers sell the lot and usually deliver next day.

    Try here!

Ordered the above mentioned parts from chambers today.
Just short of £19 including p+p.
This also included a tub of lt2 grease.
