    Cz VZ 35 Military Trainer

Reading a good blog on this rifle here.
    https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2021...-rifle-part-1/

Here he says that the Army had around 10,000 rifles made for its training purposes. These will have the National Crest on them and Army acceptance marks. After Germany took over the country in 1938 the air rifles continued to be made but the Crest was removed and serial numbers go up to around 27,000. Thus the majority (17,0000) should be without Crests many going back to Germany? Interesting to see if this is supported by rifles out there? Are there Crest rifles and or acceptance marks on serial numbers above 10,000?

I have a civilian rifle serial number in the 27,000s without a crest and one I bought recently with a Crest and acceptance marks but I have not received it yet to know the serial number.

Well it’s only just above 10,000 but I can confirm 10,878 has the crest.

Just hard for me to believe the majority don’t have crests cause I see them much more often it seems?

It would depend on survival rates too I suppose

Survival rate would be a factor and many of the rifles with no Crests may have had to survive WW2 and the aftermath in Germany?
