Video: Kempton Arms Fair Review and New BSA Book Launch

    Hi all,

I was invited to make a video at Kempton and as this coincided with the launch of Johns excellent new book we got him to tell us about it and then talk us through a few interesting items on sale at the fair.
His contribution makes this a nice little video, hopefully capturing a bit of the spirit of Kempton too.

    Cheers,
    Matt

    Thank you Matt

We are very grateful for your time and effort covering our modest Fair and not least for the interview with the latest Author. In the past we have had photographs to display, but this detailed quality video has done us proud
    Thank You.

It was a pleasure Peter, glad you like it.
Was also a privilege to get John on film, he’s a good presenter, as is John Griffiths.
(What is it with all these airgun experts called John? Maybe I’ll get to meet John Atkins one day)

    Cheers,
    Matt

    Hi Matt,

Thank you for producing and sharing this excellent video which certainly gives a good indication of the quality and variety of the items to be found at Kempton.
I'm really glad I purchased a signed copy of John's book before you released the video as Hollywood may now beckon meaning his autograph may become harder to get than many of the air guns on sale at the Fair.

    Happy Christmas.

    Thank you Brian,

I think Hollywood is safe from me - they would probably cancel me for daring to like guns for a start!

Thank you too: Matt and Mariana - it was an absolute pleasure to work with both of you as you were both very professional and had a calming effect on me. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this.

I have often wondered about all the John's getting together for a chinwag: Griffiths, Atkins, Knibbs, Walter, Milewski. I think we'd be OK until someone calls out John!

    Kind regards,

    John

Beautiful film-making, Matt, thank you. (The Srictly final is on in our house so it was a particular pleasure for me to be able to focus on your film instead!)

Great production Matt, as always. I really enjoyed playing it with frequent pauses to try to identify as many of the guns as I could. Nice work by Mariana as well.

    Cheers

What was that custom HW97 on display? It was long gone by the time I got to the stand.
