    Webley Stingray ID

    Hello all,

Just having a play about with this lovely thing but i`m wondering on which version is it.
    I know little about them.
Is it a Express model/ de lux mod ? or standard?. 2000/5?
"39" Length, Walnut timber and silencer.
    Brummie stamp.

I think it’s a deluxe with a non-Webley silencer. Barrel should be threaded.

It appears you have a nice Webley Venom Express. Only 200 made. Mach 1.5

I never got my head round the specs on the near-mythical express. Deluxe with a Venom silencer? Any internal work?

    Nope, standard internals.

    Pete
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

Is correct I had one when they first came out and had Tony Wall tune it ! great little gun stupidly sold it to a Kid at our club that pulled the trigger with the gun broken and snapped the stock at the pistol grip , could have got it back cheap years later but I never felt it the same to me even though it had been well repaired !

Nice ... great rifle I have one .
    A stingray express le
Otherwise known as the venom express
The last model Stingray was the Express LE (limited edition) of which only 200 were made. It featured a Venom slimline sound moderator, superbly blued metalwork, figured walnut stock and special vented recoil pad.
