There is a discussion of the history of these (in German) in E.G.Dieter's book 'Air rifles and air pistols from Suhl and Zella-Mehlis after 1945'. If yours has the same intricate trigger guard as the one in the Myron Kasok collection, then it will be an early one, rather than post-war.

Yes, my Bugelspanner does have the intricate trigger guard, making it pre war.
