Talk about a short eye relief!

Very Dieselpunk. Is it for real?

A manual adjustable 'secure' breech lock well before Bowkett put one on a FWB Sport... amazing. Home brewed but nicely done.

I think the rearsight is a peepsight of some kind.

It's a Slavia of some kind I think, definitely Czech ... a Brno maybe? but a Cold War one.

I'd like a shot with it.

That is fantastic, such a beautiful little oddity. I would absolutely love to own that. Such a shame about the international shipping though.

There are some photos of a basic CZ Z2 here: https://aukro.cz/vzduchovka-cz-z2-6971530891

And some more information here: http://www.vzduchovka.cz/prehled/42000/42000.html

    Made by Ceská Zbrojovka.

I guess it's the same rifle, marked for export (Modell is German rather than Czech), with a home adapted stock.

Perhaps it is intended for supine shooting? Just a wild guess.

Looks like a combination of the vz35 and strella & restocked in a later stock.
I think as the ‘bolt’ goes forward may well cock the trigger and bring the rear peep sight into the correct place, barrel cocks the spring as in a normal break barrel .

Could be a prototype or specialist target rifle for shutzenfest or similar.
