As new 6ft/lb Hammerli AR20 Ten Metre Target rifle

As above and as new condition,
It shoots as it should and is amazingly accurate, only reason for sale is an old friend has fallen into bad health, it’s a cracking little rifle and is perfect in every way but it needs to go to a good home,
I’ve no idea of value on this one as it’s not my type of rifle, I don’t shoot 10 metre target stuff but I was impressed by this when I shot it, it’s got a lovely set of adjustable diopter sights and even I was putting them through the same hole at 20 yards (rested on a bag though)😂
What’s it worth guys, I’m trying to get £500 quid for him but I’m open to offers or advice on value,
Thanks in advance for any help with valuation on this.
I can send pics by email or what’s app but don’t know how to put them on here in this forum

    Kind Regards
    Dave

Hope you don't mind, Dave, but I've moved this into general airgun. It will get seen a lot more.

Hi, can you please tell me how much of an effort it is to cock this rifle. I am looking for a gun for an elderly club member who's FAC days are over but still want to continue shooting.
    Thanks Norm

    Cocking

These cock really easy, its just a matter of pulling the lever backwards until it clicks, minimal effort required, the owner of the gun is in his 80's and he had no problem at all with it

    Regards
    Dave

At the moment chaps, I'm reading this as a valuation thread.

Please wait until a sales thread is created before attempting to buy.

    Thanks

    ok Dave

I'll put it on the sales thread as soon as i can with pics, do you think £500 is over the top or would that be a fair price ?

This is well handled by the mods, considering the unique circumstances

Well a quick google shows the new price to be £820-£850 ish so I'd think around the £600 mark depending on age/condition.

IN SALES you just write the add then scroll further down to 'manage attachments' and add the photos direct from your computer.

    Hi Dave,

Your in the right ball park, if it were mine, I'd start at 550 and be prepared to drop a little if necessary.

The advice was to anyone (and possibly someone already has and its been deleted) who posts an offer to buy on this thread.

It wasn't a snipe mate. I mean that usually this sort of thread gets sent to sales but these circumstances are different. You're trying to help a fellow shooter out in his hour of need and the mods have recognised that.
