Beautiful day finally on backyard range. Lubed the 275 is at about 370 fps with Excites. Very accurate consistently hitting 1 inch targets at 10 yards. Perfect backyard rifle neighbor was sweeping their porch never heard a thing. Wouldn’t try that with many of my rifles. My grandkids are going to love this one!

They are good fun aren’t they? And isn’t that what it’s all about really?

I have a 310 and 311 and enjoy using them.
I took the 311 to the Bell Target club shoot this week and did ok with it.
I will be on the look out for a 312 and 303 S.
Bitten by the Haenel bug I think.

According to the old books you should find that lead shot ( in the BB size) for shotguns should work fine. If you buy a bag of that it should last a life time.

Apparently BB sized lead shotgun pellets are 4.57mm, or 0.18" in diameter.

Lovely back yard! You could always shoot from within the house to keep the noise down, if it's safe.

    Enjoy,

Was out today and the 275 just loves the copper coated Excites, shoots them much better than the H&N 4.4 plain lead which you can’t get any more. I was hitting a 1 1/2 inch metal target at 60 feet with the Excites, crazy for this type of rifle?

    That’s good shooting!
