It is possible that the dive shop can't fill to 300 bar, the one i use hasn't had a 300 bar compressor that long.If the buddy bottle is not fully filled the result will be fewer shots, not less power as it's regged.
My gun is a rapid mk2 fac taylor reg,ok now the question, how come i can only fill the buddy bottle to 200 bar??im using a 300 bar dive tank.
Am i being really thick here or what?Ben says fill it to 250 and the guy i bought it from(thanks roy)said 232,so why wont it go past 200.
maybe the dive centre only put 200 bar pressure in it not 300?is that possible?
will this affect the power of the gun or just the amount of shots?
thanks in advance

Whatever pressure your big bottle fills the buddy bottle to is basically the pressure in the big bottle. Basically, you have 200bar left in the big bottle.
Remember, whether you started with 232 or 300, the actual pressure in the big bottle will get lower and lower as you use it to fill other bottles.
Sounds like a Air in bottle problem
Could also be confusion over what's on Air Bottle Gauge
Most Gauges have 2 Markings
Normally Bar in Red
PSI in Black
You should be aiming for Bar 200.
BOB/R
These bottles are marked at 200 BAR max fill pressure now as the DTI have said that it is INDUSTRIAL USE, the exact same bottle is used by divers and the max working pressure is 232 BAR this is the MAX you should use.Originally Posted by Jubei
The saftey margin on these bottles is far higher than all integrated cylinder type PCPs as there use can be very severe at times when not on an air rifle.
